Rocklin, CA – If you enjoy a sweet treat with a unique twist then this is the perfect day to come to Icing on the Cupcake grand opening in West Rocklin. Icing on the Cupcake will give back to the community by donating 25% of sales today to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital Charity at U.C. Davis Children’s Hospital.
The Icing on the Cupcake (IOTC) team has taken their cumulative 50 years of baking experience and turned it into an edible work of art. With locations already in Folsom, Sacramento, and Rocklin (Pacific Street near Rocklin Road), IOTC has designed their new 7,000 square foot West Rocklin location to help them keep up with growing appetites for their delightful confections. With demand rising, IOTC has designed the kitchen in this new facility that is almost 10 times larger then the original to provide all of the cupcakes for the four retail stores and have the capacity to support additional locations in the future.
All day long on June 17, 2011, 25% of each cupcake sale will go to help children in local hospitals. Icing on the Cupcake has teamed up with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Charity to help children in need. Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals. The charity has grown to one of North America’s leading children’s charities, raising more than $4.3 billion to date for more than 170 children’s hospitals. IOTC wants to help so stop by to taste a small piece of culinary art and make a big difference in many children’s lives.
