Roseville, CA- A 14-year-old Granite Bay boy sustained a moderate to severe injury to his hand from an unknown type of explosion this afternoon.

Placer County Sheriff’s 911 dispatchers received a call at 3:53 p.m. today from a neighbor who heard an explosion in the 5300 block of Olive Ranch Road, Granite Bay. Deputies found the boy inside his home with an injured hand. The boy was transported to Sutter Roseville Medical Center.
