Rocklin, Calif.- William Jessup University recently announced the signing of Max Botner for the Men’s Basketball program.ย

Botner, a 6′ 3” guard, was a member of the Folsom High School team three years ago, the versatile guard was voted first team all league while playing for the Bulldogs.  Max transfers after playing for one season at Lewis and Clark College (OR) and is happy to be closer to home.  He averaged 18.2 points, 6.5 rebounds per game in high school.

WJU Head Coach, Aaron Muhic, is very excited about the recruits future, “Max is a very special basketball player and will fit in well with our campus community very well.ย  He will especially provide some much needed versatility at the guard spot as we will lose Brett Swarts and Blake Allen to graduation.ย  He will be an excellent leader and he is an excellent student.ย  I look forward to working with him and know that Max will be an immediate positive impact on and off the basketball floor.’
