The Lincoln Police Department, in partnership with local county and state law enforcement agencies, recently saturated the Lincoln area during a one-day crime and gang directed enforcement operation. Ten individuals were arrested for various violations, including possession of dangerous weapons, possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, being under the influence of a controlled substance, outstanding arrest warrants, and parole and probation violations.

In January of this year, members of the Lincoln Police Department joined the Placer County Regional Crime and Gang Impact Team. The team includes the Roseville Police Department, Rocklin Police Department, Placer County Sheriff’s Department, Auburn Police Department, Placer County Probation Department, Placer County District Attorney’s Office Investigators and the California Department of Corrections. The Regional Crime and Impact Team was created to reduce crime throughout the county by collectively targeting known offenders, thus sending a unified message that gang related activity and gang violence anywhere in Placer County will not be tolerated.
