Death of Roseville baby under investigation

Detectives investigating death of 16-month old girl

At 11:12 a.m. Friday, February 11, Roseville Police and Fire personnel responded to a home in the 2600 block of Hearthside Way, to a report of a child who was not breathing.  Paramedics pronounced the child, Isabella Michelle Heredia, age 16 months, dead at the scene.  The child had no obvious signs of trauma, and investigators have not determined how she died.

Roseville detectives are interviewing family members and conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death.

An autopsy will be performed by the Placer County Coroner’s Office.
