Roseville, Calif.- Placer County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a stabbing that occurred last night near Colfax.ย 

Around 10 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a fight in a house in the 26000-block of Norton Grade Road. When they arrived, they found a man inside the house, bleeding from numerous stab wounds. The 24-year-old victim does not live at the house and wouldn’t say why he was there.

The owner of the home was not there, as he’s currently in custody at the Placer County Jail.ย 

The victim was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where his condition is serious but stable. Detectives are actively following leads in this case.
