Lincoln, CA- Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and guests, the second annual Celebrity Waiter Luncheon raised more than $25,000 to benefit the Lighthouse Counseling & Family Resource Center.

Police Chief Brian Vizzusi earned the most tips with a total of $1,500 donated to the local organization.ย  By all accounts, the event was not only successful, but lively and competitive as each celebrity waiter vied for the most enthusiastic cheers and highest tips from the guests they served.

The impressive lineup of waiters for this year’s event included Mayor Primo Santini, Councilmembers Tom Cosgrove, Kent Nakata, and Spencer Short; Placer County Board of Supervisor Chair, Jim Holmes; Supervisor Robert Weygandt; Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner; Lincoln Police Chief Brian Vizzusi; Mike Lee, PCWA director, and Lincoln’s city manager, Jim Estep.ย  The Ferreira brothers Alex and Joe served as this year’s honorary waiters.ย 

Angela Ficarra, Executive Director for the Lighthouse expressed her gratitude to the sponsors and attendees for their generous support and commitment to the local organization and its critical mission.  Special thanks were extended to the Five Star Sponsor, First Bank; to the Four Star Sponsors: Willdan, SureWest Foundation, Placer County, AT&T, Wells Fargo, Nortech, ECO:LOGIC Engineering, Sierra Vista Communities, and Placer Vineyards Development Group.

Three Star Sponsors included:  United Auburn Indian Community, River City Bank, OMNI-MEANS, Ltd., Sutter Health, Placer County Association of REALTORS, Inc., Brookfield Land, and Bill and Kathy Weygandt.  The Two Star Sponsors were:  Neil & Carol Wilson, Rotary Club of Lincoln, Vic & Mary Lou Freeman, Auburn Placer Disposal Service, Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market, Law Offices of Sandberg & Lo Ducca, Sierra Pacific Industries, and Teichert, Inc.

The Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource center, located in Lincoln at 1530 3rd Street, Suite 111, provides counseling, resources, women’s and infant children’s services (WIC) and a public health clinic.ย  The comprehensive family services available facilitate positive parenting skills for parents and caregivers living in the Lincoln and Sheridan areas.ย  The Lighthouse community resource organization has been promoting safe and healthy home environments for children and families since it was founded in 1996.
