Assemblyman stands on wrong side of history

Sacramento, Calif.- Assemblyman Ted Gaines, R-Roseville, today issued the following statement in response to the California Supreme Court’s ruling on Proposition 8:

Proposition 8, the state constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, was approved by voters last November.”

Assemblyman Ted Gaines represents the 4th Assembly District, which includes portions of Placer, El Dorado, Sacramento & Alpine counties.
