On Wednesday, January 15, 2014, Sacramento County Sheriff and Placer County Sheriff Deputies responded to a field at Watt Avenue and Baseline Road in response to a suspicious vehicle.
Further investigation at the scene revealed a deceased subject inside of a vehicle into Placer County jurisdiction.
Sacramento Sheriff Homicide Detectives have taken over the investigation due to their belief that the decedent may be related to a current ongoing investigation, in which Detectives are not prepared to release at this time.
The identity of the subject inside of the vehicle, along with the vehicle identification will await further information from the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office and notification of next of kin.
