Placer County to offer free accessibility seminar for small businesses
Auburn, Calif. – Small businesses in Placer County are invited to attend a free seminar designed to help our local companies understand current California and federal accessibility requirements.
Our Building Services Division will provide the latest updates to state and federal laws to ensure local businesses meet the standards for access – such as door widths, path of travel requirements, signage and readily achievable barrier removal.
Date/ Location/ Registration
The seminar will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Placer County Health & Human Services Center Jeff Brown room, 11434 B Ave., Auburn. Virtual access will also be available for those who cannot attend in person. A link will be sent out at registration.
Lunch provided
A complimentary lunch will be provided, and attendees will have an opportunity to enter a raffle to win a free accessibility consultation for their small business location.
