Roseville, Calif.- ย Last week the Roseville Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Enforcement team (VNET) and the Placer County Special Investigations Unit (SIU) completed a three month long investigation into Roseville and Placer County-area methamphetamine sales. Over the course of the investigation, officers recovered more than two pounds of crystal methamphetamine, valued at more than $42,000.ย  Four suspects have been arrested.

Melody Ann Cryder, also known as Melody Ann Seadorf, 43, of Roseville, has been in custody in the Placer County Jail since March 21. She is being held on suspicion of transportation and sales of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances, and conspiracy. Her bail is set at $500,000.

Mitchell Cryder, 51, of Roseville, was arrested on March 21 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, and released on a promise to appear.

Kenneth Elwood Lay, 35, of Rio Linda has been in custody in the Placer County Jail since March 21 on suspicion of transportation and sales of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy, and driving while suspended. His bail is set at $500,000.

Eric Anthony Rodriguez, 31, was arrested at his home in Sacramento on April 10, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, transportation or sales of a controlled substance, and conspiracy. He is being held in the Placer County Jail on $250,000 bail.
