Rocklin, Calif.- Onย April 4th, 2014, at approximately 11:11pm, Rocklin Police received a 9-1-1 call from a clerk at Steve’s Liqueur & Mini-Mart, located at 3800 Rocklin Road.

The clerk reported that five minutes earlier, an unknown suspect entered the store and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding she put money in a brown paper bag.  The suspect then went behind the counter and continued to point the gun at the clerk, repeating his demand for money. The suspect fled on foot either out towards Rocklin Road, or back towards the abandonded Big Gun Mining Quarry. No vehicles or other subjects were seen.
 
Rocklin police units, with the assistance of a Placer County Sheriff’s helicopter, searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. 
 
The suspect was described by the clerk as a white male, approximately 17-18 years old, about 5′-9″ tall, and pale looking. He wore black gloves, a grey long sleeve sweatshirt that had the letters “NY” on the front, and skinny jeans (light denim). He also wore a black cloth or bandana on his face, and had something dark on his head. He was carrying a brown paper bag and a gun. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
