Lincoln, CA – Thunder Valley Casino Resort recently announced its donation of over 2,000 bed sheets, 275 bath towels, 45 bath mats, 160 rugs and 830 robes to Stand Up Placer – a local nonprofit organization that provides victims of domestic violence with a safe environment.


 “We are thrilled to invest in our local community and are pleased that our linens can be of assistance to Stand Up Placer,” said C.J. Graham, General Manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “It is our sincere hope that this donation helps to keep families comfortable and warm this holiday season.”


 Stand Up Placer plans to use the donated linens to assist clients as they seek shelter and guidance in the organization’s safe house.


 “We are excited and pleased with this generous donation from Thunder Valley,” said Michelle Coleman, Executive Director of Stand Up Placer. “These linens will allow us to provide comfort as well as safety for the Placer County survivors of violence who seek our services. Thank you Thunder Valley for standing up against violence.” 


This holiday season, Thunder Valley is also participating in a winter coat drive, employee canned food and toy drive as well as donating hundreds of meals to local families in need.
