ROCKLIN, Calif., – William Jessup University will feature technology veteran and author Vincent “Skip” Vaccarello on Tues., March 8 during the lunch hour from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the growing university’s lecture hall.
Vaccarello is a 35-year veteran of the tech industry serving in leadership positions for Silicon Valley technology companies. He served as VP of Operations at VisiCorp, an early PC-software-maker and most recently the CEO of Applied Weather Technology and Communications Solutions Inc., a global company providing software and services to the maritime industry. His other experience includes CEO of Communications Solutions, Inc., division general manager of 3Com, and co-founder and CEO of The Saratoga Group.
In addition, Vaccarello recently published an Amazon bestseller that shares interviews with prominent Silicon Valley Christians entitled “Finding God in Silicon Valley: Spiritual Journeys in a High Tech World.” When he isn’t writing, he provides executive mentoring and business consulting services and is active in church and community activities, including chairing the Silicon Valley Prayer Breakfast, an annual event that attracts over 700 people.
This seminar addresses the role of Christianity in business and provides guiding principles for running an ethical organization, as well as suggesting practical ideas. The talk will be helpful for leaders of both large and small businesses, in addition to non-profit organization leaders.
Vaccarello earned a bachelor of arts from Harvard College and an MBA from Boston University. He has been married for over 37 years, has two children, and four grandchildren.
