Swine Flu Confirmed in Fair Oaks, California

Sacramento County Public Health Officer Dr. Glennah Trochet reports that the Centers for Disease Control has confirmed that a sample sent to their lab Saturday was positive for Swine Flu.

The sample was collected from a student at St. Mel’s school in Fair Oaks.

This is the first known confirmed sample in Northern California.
