Roseville, Calif.- At about 8 p.m. last night (Wednesday, March 20), suspects in a white compact four-door sedan drove down Hickory Street near Atkinson Street, and someone in the vehicle fired several shots at a pedestrian. Fortunately no one was hit or hurt. The suspects then drove out of the area at a high rate of speed.
Our officers don’t believe that this was a random event, but that the intended victim and the suspects knew each other and had a grievance with each other. A couple of the rounds also hit the wall of a home on Hickory Street. Those residents were uninvolved parties who had nothing to do with the incident, other than their house being in the line of fire.
Detectives have been actively investigating the incident since last night in order to identify and arrest the suspects.
