Sheri Del Torchio Joins Community 1st Bank

Roseville, Calif.- Community 1st Bank (now First Foundation Bank) announced today that Sheri Del Torchio has been named Assistant Vice President, Credit Analyst. She has 12 years of experience in multiple roles in banking within the Sacramento region.

Del Torchio comes to Community 1st Bank after working the past three years with Umpqua Bank in Roseville as an Assistant Relationship Manager for the real estate owned (REO) department.

Community 1st Bank has branches in downtown Auburn at 649 Lincoln Way, and in Roseville at 2250 Douglas Boulevard.

As a credit analyst at Community 1st Bank, Del Torchio will be responsible for gathering and analyzing credit information on current and potential borrowers; determine the advisability of granting credit, and assist loan officers in writing loan requests.

“We’re very excited about Sheri becoming part of our team,” said Robert Haydon, President & CEO of Community 1st Bank. “She demonstrates a high level of knowledge and will give us even more added strength to our management group.”

Del Torchio, who lives in Penryn, started as a teller in 2001 with Washington Mutual Bank in Sacramento. After being selected to enroll in the bank’s manager training program, Del Torchio quickly gained experience, working in new accounts, operations, plus consumer and mortgage lending.

After three years with Washington Mutual, Del Torchio became the bank’s branch manager. A short time later, Del Torchio moved to Western Sierra Bank, transitioning into commercial lending and expanding her banking depth of knowledge.

“My experience and extensive background in both the retail and commercial sides of banking makes me unique, enabling me to quickly transition between different roles within the bank,” Del Torchio said. “I love coming to a community bank where I get to know the customers on a more personal basis and enjoy a deep satisfaction knowing that I have helped them with their banking needs.”

Del Torchio grew up in Sacramento and attended Loretto High School. She is married to Marvin Del Torchio and the couple have three adult sons, including twin boys.
