Passport El Dorado

Passport Weekend NOT Your Average Wine Event

El Dorado County, CA – Among the top events in Northern California, Passport Weekend is rated a “Do Not Miss” celebration by Rocklin & Roseville Today’s travel and entertainment editors.

We anticipate another blockbuster event as Passport Weekend marks their 27th annual event with an invitation for you to sip and savor award-winning wines while enjoying perfectly paired bites, music and a bounty of other experiences at more than 20 participating wineries throughout the picturesque foothills of El Dorado County.

Roseville Today Holiday Guide

Two Weekends in April

Spread over two weekends at the end of April, tickets options allow for single day enjoyment or entire weekend packages. Following last year’s amazingly good time, we opted for the full weekend pass this year. A weekend pass priced at $65 is an absolute steal of a deal in our opinion.  Check out ticket prices and options online at Passport Weekend.

Be Prepared for Some Serious Fun

The Passport Weekend is notably different based on the sheer enthusiasm and participation level of the wineries we attended. Cheerful employees decked out in themed costumes genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves just as much as the attendees with overly generous pours and pairings. A festive spirit permeated the atmosphere everywhere we went. The good cheer includes an abundance of scrumptious food paired perfectly with free flowing wines.  If that’s not enough, it’s all set against a backdrop of the glimmering white peaks of the Sierra Nevadas in the distance.

Countless attendees we spoke with in 2017 were repeat visitors and many expressed a shared sentiment that Passport Weekend is yearly must attend ritual. Incredible deals on wine are also available throughout the event and there was no shortage of wine lovers stocking up by the case.

Passport Weekend is no average wine event, so be prepared to let your hair down and have some serious fun. We certainly will be in celebration mode.

Hope to see ya there!
