Roseville, CA — The City of Roseville Fire Department is launching a new Emergency Notification System called Alert Roseville.


Alert Roseville is an emergency notification system that may be used to deliver alerts when there is a threat to the health and safety of residents. This system will replace the existing mass notification system put into place in 2005.


“The City of Roseville has a strong commitment to disaster preparedness and emergency response. Upgrading to a more advanced emergency notification system was a natural step in helping protect our residents” said Pete Hnat, Emergency Preparedness Manager for the City of Roseville.


Alert Roseville has the ability to contact thousands of residents instantly via home phone, cellular phone, business phone, email address, text message, and fax.


Alert Roseville utilizes commercially available phone data as a core source of contact information. This includes some landline phone numbers, cell phone numbers, and some Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone numbers.


All City of Roseville residents are encouraged to register their contact information – home, cell, and work phones, email and fax, at www.roseville.ca.us/AlertRoseville


Alert Roseville is a free service provided by all cities and regional service areas in Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo County’s.
