The 2014 Annual Report was formally presented by Rocklin PD Crime Analyst Shawn Baird to the Rocklin City Council, as well as the Sierra College Board of Trustees on Tuesday, February 10th, 2015.
The 2014 Annual Report illustrates that the City of Rocklin continues to be one of the safest cities in the Sacramento region with a very low crime rate.
During calendar year 2014, the Uniform Crime Reporting (U.R.C.) crime rate was 17.8 Part-I crimes per every 1,000 resident. Violent crime was down significantly by 24%, while property crime was up slightly by 7% over the previous calendar year.
