Rocklin, Calif.- On June 11th, at about 3:00PM, the Rocklin Police Department responded to a 911 call from a juvenile at Breen Park.
The victim stated she and her friends were approached several times by a male not wearing a shirt while riding his bike in the park. The male was asking “inappropriate” questions and making comments towards the girls.
Responding officers located 57-year-old Julio Richard Ruggiero of Rocklin in a near-by neighborhood. He was found to be in possession of binoculars, an illegal controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and drug paraphernalia. The officers investigated the incident and arrested Ruggiero for 647.6PC (Annoying a child), based on the criminal statements he made towards the girls, along with being in possession of a controlled substance (suspected Methamphetamine) and narcotics paraphernalia. Ruggiero was arrested and booked into the Placer County Jail with a bail set at $15,000.
