The City of Rocklin is proposing to annex a 103 acre piece of property that is surrounded by the city and currently sits outside the city limits.
The property contains 182 parcels south of Rocklin Road along Aguilar Road and Greenbrae Road.The property consists of approximately 103 acres containing 182 parcels.
Annexation requires city approval of a Resolution of Application to be submitted to the Placer County LAFCO and the approval of Placer County LAFCO. State law, Govt. Code Sec. 56375.3 requires the annexation of the entire island.
The City of Rocklin asserts that the annexation as win for everyone including the residents, city, and county. City officials also claim the annexation will have very low impact on the neighborhood in the near time and are hoping for a positive impact going forward.
