Placer County District 1 Supervisor Rocky Rockholm will have his head shaved this Saturday to help raise funds to combat childhood cancer and help its patients and survivors.
Rockholm is part of the Westfield Pot O’ Chrome team that thus far has raised more than $9,500 in team funds and $7,000 in sponsorships for the event, which features daytime public shavings of local supporters of the cause followed by a ‘Baldy Bash’ party and benefit concert in the evening.
The annual event benefits the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which spends more money than any other private organization in the nation on finding cures and improving the quality of life for childhood cancer patients and survivors.
