PRIDE Foundation Appoints Two New Board Members

Roseville, Calif., -– PRIDE Foundation, a public charity foundation operating in support of PRIDE Industries, is pleased to announce the addition of two new board members, Jeannine English,  AARP California State President, and Scott Hanson of Hanson McClain Advisors, Inc. 

Jeannine English, who was appointed as AARP California State President in 2007, also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the California State Bar and previously worked more than 10 years as executive director of the Little Hoover Commission.

Scott Hanson, senior partner and founding principal of Hanson McClain Advisors, Inc., is a nationally known financial expert and author of Money Matters: Essential Tips and Tools for Building Financial Peace of Mind.  Scott recently served as the Capital Campaign Committee Chair for the River Oak Center for Children and sits on the board of the Sacramento Regional Community Foundation. 

‘Jeannine’s extensive connections developed through her business and community service background will help us greatly expand our education outreach,’ said Jennifer Alpert Palchak, Executive Director of PRIDE Foundation.  ‘Similarly, Scott’s considerable financial expertise, dedication to philanthropy and personal connection to our mission adds tremendous value to the board.  We are excited to welcome them both.’ 

PRIDE Foundation is responsible for raising and monitoring the use of charitable gifts for the benefit of PRIDE Industries, as well as reporting the impact of donors’ investment in PRIDE’s mission.  PRIDE Industries is a not-for-profit company with a mission to create jobs for people with disabilities.  PRIDE Industries provides a variety of business solutions to meet the manufacturing and service needs of companies nationwide. PRIDE employs more than 4,100 individuals across 12 states and in the nation’s capitol, including more than 2,700 people with disabilities.
