The 10th annual Matt Redding Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Monday, June 15, at Whitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin.
Cost is $145 per person, which includes green fees, shirt, cart, range balls, lunch, and awards dinner that features a raffle, silent auction and auctioneer. Additional dinners are available for $35 per person.
Registration begins at 11 a.m., and lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The shotgun start begins at 1 p.m.
A popular Rocklin Police Officer, Matt Redding tragically died while on duty in October 2005 when he was struck and killed by a vehicle that was driven by an intoxicated driver.
All proceeds go to the nonprofit Matt Redding Memorial Scholarship Foundation, which supports education in Protective Services and provides financial support each year to graduating seniors at five local high schools. It also provides scholarships to Sierra College and William Jessup University each year.
