David Huber, chairman of the board of directors for Placer Valley Tourism, has been named general manager of the new 115-suite hotel the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Roseville. Huber served the previous two years as GM of Marriott’s Residence Inn, also in Roseville. Prior to joining Marriott, he was an area manager for Extended Stay America for three years.
Huber earned a bachelor’s degree in business at Sierra Nevada College at Incline Village, Nevada, in 1994. His hobbies include skiing and golf.
