Community 1st Bank welcomes LaDuca-Boose

Community 1st Bank (now First Foundation Bank) has named Nannette LaDuca-Boose the Assistant Vice President of its Mortgage Department. LaDuca-Boose has more than 25 years experience in the mortgage business.

She will work out of both the Auburn and Roseville offices of Community 1st Bank and be a key component in the mortgage department. Her experience in the past includes working with both Conventional loans and Reverse Mortgage programs. Among her areas of expertise are processing, underwriting and origination.

LaDuca-Boose has considerable ties to Placer County. From 2003 to 2011, she had her own branch office with First Priority Financial in Rocklin. She was a loan officer and was involved in both conventional and reverse mortgages. LaDuca-Boose also served as a manager and trainer while running the Rocklin loan branch office.

In honor of her diligence and expertise, LaDuca-Boose was voted the “Best Mortgage Lender ” in a 2010 reader’s poll by the Placer Herald newspaper.

“We have a great loan product at Community 1st Bank that people are very receptive to, so I enjoy getting out in the community, meeting new people, and assisting them with their mortgage needs,” LaDuca-Boose said. “At a community bank, you’re not just another number. We take a personal interest in our customers and I really look forward to that aspect of the job.”

One focus for LaDuca-Boose will be the updated Home Affordable Refinance Program 2 (HARP2). The housing program assists distressed borrowers and is intended to help those who are current on their mortgage payments but owe more on their mortgages than the current market value of their homes. The program will start being available in mid-March. Community 1st Bank is hosting workshops for the community to explain how HARP2 works.

LaDuca-Boose will also be available for homeowners looking to refinance at the current low interest rates that will result in substantial savings.

“Nanette is a tremendous addition to our mortgage department,” said Robert Haydon, President & CEO of Community 1st Bank. “She has valuable experience and we are excited about Nanette joining our team”.

Using her knowledge in the mortgage business, LaDuca-Boose developed and taught a class at Sierra College – Mortgages 101. She has also provided individual training for professionals and workshops for the public on the intricacies of reverse mortgages.

LaDuca-Boose is an Ambassador for the Rocklin Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Placer area Women’s Council of Realtors.

A native of Millbrae, LaDuca-Boose resides in Rocklin with her husband Stephen, daughter Stefanie, and son Joey. The children are active in local sports and the family enjoys RV camping. Among Nannette’s hobbies are cooking and baking decorative cakes and cupcakes.
