Sacramento County Sheriff Homicide Detectives have made an arrest in the shooting and homicide of a 16-year old male victim within the 5600 block of Skyridge Drive in Orangevale last night (May 31, 2015).
Mario Andreas Contreras, 18, was arrested and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail on a charge of murder. He is currently being held without the possibility of bail.
Detectives believe that this was not a random act of violence. Though the victim did not live at the location where this incident occurred, it is unclear the exact relationship between he and Contreras.
