Allie Griffey joins Elevate with a strong background in PR and events

Rocklin, Calif. – Elevate Public Relations & Marketing is proud to announce its recent hire of Allie Griffey, who will serve as Elevate’s community engagement coordinator. Griffey’s roles include community outreach and engagement on behalf of Elevate’s clients, social media content development, special event and public relations support.

“We are thrilled to have Allie join the Elevate team,” commented Elevate’s Principal, Mary Towne. “Her outgoing personality, creativity and attention to detail make her a valued asset and a perfect fit for our community engagement coordinator position.”

Griffey is an alumna of CSU, Chico where she achieved two bachelor’s degrees in journalism with an option in public relations and musical theatre. While in college, she served as a PR intern for Chico State’s student run newspaper, The Orion, as well as the social media and PR intern for Butte Humane Society. In addition, she was the marketing director, choreographer and dancer for Momentum Choreography Collective at Chico State.

Her background also includes experience as an event coordinator intern for events! in Folsom where she has worked on accounts including the Capital Region Family Business Center, SMUD, Umoja Community and BloodSource.
