Roseville, Calif.- The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding suspects who assaulted a 90-year-old man Monday afternoon.

At approximately 1:15  p.m. on Monday, May 28, a 90-year-old North Highlands man drove his green 1996 Ford Explorer westbound on Blue Oaks Boulevard, then turned south onto Fiddyment Road. As he turned left, he was sideswiped, it appeared deliberately, by a pickup. The two vehicles stopped, and both occupants of the pickup got out. The pickup driver reached through victim’s open driver’s side window, punched the victim in the chest, and kicked the side of the victim’s Ford Explorer, causing large dents. A witness saw the incident, stopped and yelled at the two men. The two men got back into their pickup and drove away southbound on Fiddyment Road.

The victim suffered bruising and pain. He was transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center, where he was treated and released.

The pickup driver was described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5’9″ tall, 175 pounds, with black hair, wearing a white tank top. The suspect’s vehicle was described as a primer gray, green and brown mid-80s pickup, similar to a Ford F-150.
