A driver suspected of leaving the scene after his vehicle hit a 79-year-old pedestrian at the Galleria Mall has been arrested by Roseville Police.
At 9:45 p.m. on July 5, Justin Allen Cole, 24, was arrested without incident at his Roseville residence. He is being held without bail in the Placer County Jail on suspicion of hit and run causing injury, and parole violation.
At 8:07 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, the Roseville Police Department responded to an injury hit-and-run collision in a parking lot in the Roseville Galleria shopping center.
An 79-year-old male was walking with his daughter toward the mall entrance when he was struck by a pickup. The pedestrian was lifted onto the hood of the pickup, and then fell, injuring his head. The pickup driver drove away without stopping. The pedestrian was admitted to an area hospital, and has since been released.
