Lincoln, CA- New Jersey native and surviving core member of the famed Steely Dan, Donald Fagen strolled across the stage at Thunder Valley to enthusiastic applause just before 8:00 pm last night just as band finished out a tasteful jazz intro. It only got better from there.
Our initial reservations of seeing Steely Dan, sans Walter Becker who passed away in 2017 were eased with a tasteful setlist and an exceptionally gifted 12-piece band. An impressive homage to a musical legacy extending back to 1972, fans embraced the nostalgia with impromptu group singing and dancing session breaking out around the venue.
