The Hangtown Music Festival will feature three full sets over three nights of host band Railroad Earth and once-in-a-lifetime musical experiences and artist collaborations. Making their Hangtown debut is The Claypool Lennon Delirium featuring American multi-instrumentalists Les Claypool and Sean Lennon (son of John and Yoko). Scion of Willie, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real return this year for another set of sublime music as the Festival celebrates family both on and off the stage. As Hangtown Festival honors the rich cultural history of Placerville and the surrounding area, it continues to establish itself as one of Northern California’s favorite boutique festivals.
The lineup includes three nights of Railroad Earth (3 nights), The Claypool Lennon Delirium, Trampled By Turtles, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe presents Eat A Bunch of Peaches (Allman Brothers Tribute), Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keller Williams’ PettyGrass feat. The Hillbenders, Billy Strings, Pimps of Joytime, Melvin Seals and JGB, Ghost Light, Pink Talking Fish, Jon Stickley Trio, Dead Winter Carpenters, Kung Fu, Sepiatonic, Midtown Social, Five Alarm Funk, Ron Artis II, Achilles Wheel,Jelly Bread, Old Salt Union, and One Grass Two Grass.
There will be Halloween costume themes, seasonal ales by Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, wine, artisanal cuisine, arts and craft faire, pumpkin carving, yoga and more. The KidZone at the Hangtown Music Festival is a safe and magical place where kids and parents can participate in fun and creative activities such as monster art, wizardry, dance parties, and much more.
