Grateful Dead – The Music Never Stops

Wheatland, Calif.- With 107 degrees in the forecast, it’s going to be a hot show. Weather aside, Dead & Company continue racking up one incredible performance after another on their summer 2016 tour.

In another turbulent political season, leave it to Dead & Co and their fans to provide the perfect dose of party unity. While Jerry Garcia can never be replaced, John Mayer by all accounts has re-energized the base of Deadheads. Mayer’s soulful and intricate fret work adds a new and spirited vibrancy to the Dead catalog while showing tremendous respect to Jerry’s enormous legacy.

To paraphrase an old saying, “There’s nothing quite like a Dead Show”, remains true to this day. Perhaps as close to going back in time as you can experience.

While a cult-like devotion to the band is unlike any other, their 50 year musical legacy and musicianship stands the test of time quite well and like fine wine, only seems to get better with age. Expect a well-seasoned and psychedelic blend of bluegrass, country, folk, jazz and rock music all rolled into one. Dead and Company includes Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann along with John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti and Oteil Burbridge

This Friday, local Deadheads and those traveling from around the country will converge just up Highway 70 in Wheatland at the Toyota Amphitheatre for a smoking show.

If you don’t mindย joyful, dancing hippies of all ages, long musical jams andย escaping forย a few hours of free-spirited dancing, come out Friday for an experience unlike any other.
