Roseville, Calif.- Directors for three openings on the Placer County Fair Board were elected at the annual meeting of the Placer County Fair Association on January 10.

Incumbent David Henry, Roseville, was re-elected to his position, and joining the board will be new directors Ashley Robison, Lincoln, and Michael Duarte, Loomis. Terms had expired for Directors John Moore and Marge Day.

David Henry, who serves as Treasurer, has been a member of the Fair Board since 1999 and is owner of Roseville Meats. He has been actively involved with the All American Speedway renovation, is a member of the Jr. Livestock Committee, the City of Roseville Revitalization Committee and the Roseville 20-30 Club.

Ashley Robison has been involved with the scholarship pageants at the Placer County Fair for several years, has been the Volunteer of the Year for the Nonprofit Resource Center, and is active in numerous local charities. She is the Human Resources and Marketing Coordinator for accounting firm Gallina LLP.

Michael Duarte is a fourth generation grape grower with Duarte Family Vineyards and owner of Popie Wines. He is a member of the Placer County Fair and Gold Country Fair Jr. Livestock Auction Committees, PlacerGROWN, and is on the board of the Placer County Wine and Grape Association. Duarte is a business owner providing technology services.
