Holocaust Survivor

Dr. Jacob Eisenbach to Share His Story of Survival on March 28

The Chabad Community Center of Placer County Honored to Host Holocaust Survivor Dr. Jacob Eisenbach in Rocklin

Jacob-Eisenbach

ROCKLIN – Holocaust survivor Dr. Jacob Eisenbach, who lived through the horrors of the Nazi occupation of Poland, a labor camp and concentration camps, will tell his story of survival at a special event on Thursday, March 28 in Rocklin.

Presented by the Chabad Jewish Community Center of Placer County, the annual event featuring a Holocaust survivor serves as a powerful message in the battle against anti-Semitism, bigotry and hate.

Dr. Eisenbach, 94, was the sole survivor of the Holocaust from his extended family of about 100 people. He immigrated to the United States in 1950, married a fellow survivor and built a dentistry practice he operated for 60 years.

“We are honored to have Dr. Jacob Eisenbach come to Placer County and share his inspiring story,” said Rabbi Yossi Korik, Director of the Chabad Jewish Community Center of Placer County. “It is so important that people today, particularly young people, understand what happened in Nazi Germany and the lessons it provides for all of humanity.”
