2nd Annual Folsom Pumpkin Fest

Folsom, Calif.- The Folsom Pumpkin Fest happens Sunday, October 23 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Gazebo behind the Folsom Public Library at 411 Stafford. Please join us for this FREE event to celebrate the holiday with the community!

Come have fun and make memories with your family and friends.

CARVED PUMPKIN CONTEST: Carve your pumpkin at home. Drop off your carved pumpkin at the event location on the day of the event between 11am-1pm at the event location. Carved pumpkins MUST be dropped off by 1:00 to guarantee entry. Event attendees will vote on the BEST carved pumpkin in these categories: MOST CREATIVE, MOST ORIGINAL, MOST FESTIVE. Top 3 winners in each category get a prize. ALL participants get a small participation prize. Winners will be announced at 3:00. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

COSTUME CONTEST: Dress up to enter the Costume Contest by participating in the costume parade at 3:30. One winner will be selected from the following categories: MOST CREATIVE, MOST ORIGINAL, MOST FESTIVE. Winners will be announced at 3:45. MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

SMALL PUMPKIN GIVEAWAY & DECORATING: Each child and youth under age 18 will be given a small pumpkin to decorate with craft materials at the event and take home for display. One pumpkin per person (under age 18) while supplies last.

PHOTO BOOTH: Festive holiday photo backdrop and props will be available for you to take photos with your family and friends using your own camera.

BOOTHS: Various organizations will be present to provide information, a game, and giveaways at their table. Visit ALL the booths and win a grand prize.

FREE TICKET: Each group must register the number of attendees in your party. Tickets will be scanned at check-in. Please indicate how many children and youth will be receiving a small pumpkin giveaway so that we get a good headcount. If you cannot attend at the last minute, please cancel your free ticket to help us keep track of how many small pumpkins to purchase.
